Just one year after joining Qlik as a new graduate, Katarina was promoted to Software Engineer. Since then, she’s been using the Qlik Career Progression Program to keep advancing her career.
Tell us about your job?
It’s my job to investigate software issues for clients. Every day I’m asking the question: ‘Is this a set-up issue or a bug?’. Sometimes finding out the answer takes five minutes, but sometimes it can take up to a couple of months.
Who do you work with?
I work closely with Qlik’s Support Team and also directly with our clients.
What’s the most rewarding thing about your job?
I really enjoy working with people from all over the world. Also, I like knowing that by fixing a bug, I can potentially make thousands of clients happy.
What’s your favourite Qlik benefit?
Starting the day by having breakfast with everyone.
What advice would you give somebody thinking about applying for our New Graduate Program?
Go for it! It’s a great opportunity to try things out and learn a lot in a very friendly atmosphere. It’s also nice to be in a group where everyone is new – there’s a real ‘we’re in this together’ kind of feeling.
